Tristotus was a Gladiator from Germania who later joined Spartacus' rebellion against the Romans. Following the Battle at the Silarus River, he was crucified along the Appian Way on the orders of Marcus Licinius Crassus.
Trisotus was born in Germania in 99 BC and taken into slavery at the age of ten. later in his life he became a gladiator, fighting to the death for the entertainment of the crowd.
In 73 BC he and his fellow gladiators escaped from their ludus in Capua and found Spartacus and his army somewhere near Mount Vesuvius.
